About

A couple of weeks before my 13th birthday, my Dad let me accompany him to the shooting range in Cagayan de Oro City, Philippines, where they were practicing for a regional Steel Challenge match. With the promise of McDonald’s and all the french fries that I could ever want, it was hard to say no to that. After 15 minutes of being a restless spectator, he let me shoot my first few rounds out of his single stack 1911 race gun chambered in 38 super and I was hooked!

Flash forward 20 years, 2 IPSC World Champion titles, 2 USPSA National titles, 2 World Speed Shooting Champion titles and numerous other regional, sectional and area matches later, I am happily pursuing my hobby as a non-pro shooter, having proudly represented the United States and helping the country win 2 team gold medals (World Shoot XV in Bali and World Shoot XVI in Greece) and 1 silver (World Shoot XIV in Ecuador). I am hoping to qualify again for the women’s team for the next world championship which will be held in Florida in 2014!

Happy Shooting!
